What a beautiful day it was.  This past Sunday we visited the Arboretum, it’s part of the Univ. of Minneapolis. We only really spent time in the Children’s Garden area.  Maya, Ethan, and Andrew built a fort from branches that are found on the prairie.  I guess we have prairies here in Minnesota.  I am still not sure exactly what a prairie is.  However, I know that there is a ton of vegetation and the beautiful purple Echinacea plant that grows there makes yummy iced tea!  The kids also made bracelets from the sweet grass they cut and played with seeds from the Giant Sunflowers that grow in the garden.
